Solving the problem of potholes

Potholes are a major source of claims for those local authorities operating a highways service. In fact back in 2012 the compensation bill was estimated at between £15M and £20M with the average cost of a car repair being £220.

Many of our local authority clients will routinely process such claims and are therefore keen to reduce these costs wherever possible. In light of this issue a number of organisations attempt to give advice & guidance upon how such claims can be reduced- one such entity is the Public Policy Exchange who are running an event on the 28th of January at the Grange Wellington Hotel in London.
