School property claims submitted using JCAD LACHS online claim forms

Essex County Council uses an online claim form available with JCAD LACHS, claims handling system, for submission of school property claims. The council insures 280 schools and has been successfully using the online claim form module for 2 years.

Benefits:

  • Saves time on claims submission
  • No sending of paper forms or waiting for their return
  • No manual data entry – the information automatically populates LACHS
  • More time efficient
  • Onus is on the school for submitting the claim and information accurately

‘Processing claims using online forms has easily halved our claims processing time,’ Dan Laws, Insurance Advisor, Essex County Council.

In addition to the school online form, Essex County Council also uses online forms for public submission of highway claims and internal services too.
