JCAD Empowers Croydon Council with Effective Risk Management

JCAD has been proud to partner with Croydon Council recently, to enhance their risk management capabilities. Our experienced risk consultant, Sandra McGinnis CIOR, worked with the council to conduct a comprehensive risk review, drawing upon the valuable insights of  the Audit and Governance committee. Recognising the importance of stakeholder perspectives, Sandra conducted interviews with senior members of staff to identify and address potential barriers to risk management.

The resulting action plan, tailored to Croydon Council’s specific needs, offered practical solutions some of which were swiftly implemented. With Sandra’s guidance, the council successfully classified their risks and then published their risk register online, a significant stride towards increased transparency.

Croydon Council’s collaboration with JCAD has yielded tangible results. By providing objective insights and strategic guidance, Sandra has empowered the council to strengthen its risk management practices and make informed decisions and will continue to work closely with them for a more secure future.
