Founded in 1991, JCAD today has a client base of over 200 public and private sector clients based in the UK, Europe, Asia, Australasia and the USA.
Currently based in a beautiful barn conversion in the heart of the countryside, JCAD’s culture is relaxed and productive, supporting casual dress, lunchtime activities, showers and flexible working.
Health, fitness and wellbeing remain at the heart of the culture here at JCAD. The majority of employees at JCAD take advantage of the glorious Hampshire countryside and can often be seen running or cycling during their lunch breaks. JCAD supports and actively encourages the government led Health & Fitness schemes such as structured breaks and the cycle to work schemes.
JCAD has started supporting a local charity GASP. JCAD is pleased to support GASP, an alternative education provider supporting young people through the provision of motor mechanics and engineering. They are currently working hard building a Greenpower car to race against other schools at Goodwood and Dunsfold.
It is an important part of the JCAD philosophy to support charitable work and some members of the JCAD team (including John Crawford the CEO), regularly participate in events such as running (10K’s to marathons), cycling (London to Paris, sportives, Etape de Tour and Triathlons including competing in the World Championships.
Recognised charities supported by JCAD include Prostate Cancer, Heart Foundation and Breast Cancer.
JCAD are involved in many aspects of the local community. More than 50% of our staff are employed from the local and surrounding areas. JCAD also supports the local community with gestures such as the recent donation of old PC to a local pre-school.
